About Moe's Learning Center

Nestled in the community of Port Chester, Moe's Learning Center Family Child Care is a New York licensed Child Care In Home program overseen by Monique Thompson. Moe's Learning Center Family Child Care provides care to children Monday through Friday, 07:20 AM to 6:00 PM and may have special hours during the holidays. With our progressive and holistic early childhood education philosophy, we understand that each child has unique needs and interests. We provide the environment and tools your child needs to thrive to the best of their abilities.
When we expose children to different environments and various learning experiences, we allow them to explore their self-awareness and gain a sense of the world around them.

Meet Monique Thompson, She was born in Bronx New York, and raised in Port Chester New York. She went to Penn State University where she received degree in Human Development and family studies. Monique always knew she wanted to help other people. She realized that she had a love for kids so she decided open a group family daycare center in 2015, where she runs inside her home. She expresses that every day is enjoy to wake up and serve these kids and give them an opportunity to reach their highest potential of learning.

One of the reasons for becoming a Daycare provider is to contribute to your community in a meaningful way. Teaching is one of the most direct ways to make an impact, and if you are driven by the desire to help those around you. Being a teacher is an invaluable contribution. Daycare providers do more than teach, and their impact extends far beyond the daily 7 am to 6 pm schedule. As a teacher, you are more than just an educator - you are a mentor, a confidant and a friend. One of the most common reasons to become a teacher is to make a difference in lives of as many students as you can.
